The Polish pianist Ewa Poblocka studied at the Conservatory in Gdansk with Zbigniew Sliwinski and Jerzy Sulikowski. Later she studied with Conrad Hansen in Hamburg. Ewa Poblocka has performed in almost all European countries, in North and South America, Singapore, Korea and Japan.
Her repertoire is extensive and ranges from Bach, Mozart and Chopin to Panufnik, Bartok and Lutoslawski. She also plays 20th-century works by Berg,
Debussy and Szymanowski, among others. As a soloist she has performed with the London Symphony Orchestra, the English Chamber Orchestra, the Orchestra del Maggo Musicale Fiorentino and the Bayerisches Rundfunkorchester.
Ewa Poblocka performs as well in combination with singers, violinists and string ensembles (such as Silesian Quartet).
