Unfolding
Unfolding is een kleurrijke videotheatervoorstelling van 20 minuten. Een abstracte audiovisuele thriller waarin een zoektocht wordt gesuggereerd naar een Aziatisch-Europees lichaamsgeheugen. Licht, geluid, video, fysiek theater en animatie werken op originele wijze samen in de voorstelling. Gerard Mosterd is een ervaren choreograaf/theatermaker van Nederlands/Indonesische afkomst. Hij toerde veel in de regio Zuidoost-Azië en trad op met prominente artiesten als Gumarang Sakti, Miroto en filmmaker Garin Nugroho. Mosterd heeft 40 onafhankelijke, originele werken gemaakt rond interculturele thema’s met betrekking tot Azië en Europa. Verschillende van hen zijn uitgevoerd in Maleisië, zoals “ketuk Tilu” voor het laatst op het Kuala Lumpur International Arts Festival.
